Benefits of Bulk Plant Pots

Posted on May 13, 2021

There are many advantages to bulk plant pots, which are also known as bulk soil. The biggest advantage is that you can use the same pots over again. If you have a new plant and you want to move it from one pot to another, you just simply remove the pot, rinse the soil off and put the plant in the new pot. This allows you to reuse the pots, saving you money on buying more pots. Pot gardening is becoming more popular because it is less expensive than the alternative of buying bulk soil. If you grow plants in bulk plant pots, this saves you from buying more pots over again.

Many of us love flowers, especially for weddings, birthdays, and Mother’s Day. However, it is very difficult to keep your plants alive when you are not at home and often, you only get a handful of flowers each time. With container gardening, you can easily replicate the look of natural flowers in your home and give your visitors something to admire. Plants are easier to maintain in bulk plant pots, as they do not get soggy or muddy. They also have a better chance of survival if you do not water them as often.

Pots are also ideal for storing different types of plants, whether you have trees, shrubs, flowers or vegetables. You can place a variety of soil and water them frequently. You can also place the pots on top of a tray instead of containers if you are interested in replicating a kitchen countertop. It is even possible to raise plants inside the pots. This will require a larger container and longer periods of time to care for the plants, but you can still achieve all the same benefits. You can use a hydroponic system or indoor fountains.

If you have children, you can save time and money by replanting the plants that did not survive the summer heat. If you have perennials that you keep in pots on the patio, you can easily move them when there is bad weather. The cost savings you will achieve will be considerable.

There is an additional benefit that will not occur if you choose bulk plant pots. If you are trying to attract bees, butterflies or other pests with your plants, you will have a hard time attracting them if your garden is cluttered. The plants will hide from predators and this makes them less likely to be found in your garden. However, when you have the plants inside the pots, predators cannot find them because the plants are protected. This makes your garden much safer.

Many people who grow plants in bulk plant pots also use other methods of pest control to protect their plants. For example, coffee grounds and citrus peels can be sprinkled on plants to deter bugs. A lot of gardeners like to put dish washing liquids, such as citrus and washing soaps, into the soil so that the bugs are repelled as they eat your fruits and vegetables. You can do this by putting the liquids into the bottom of the bulk plant pots. It is important to remember to clean the dishwashing liquid before it rains or after the dishes have been used.

Plants that come inside the pots can also be given other protection. Place netting over the tops of the pots to keep larger animals from chewing on the roots. If you have young children, you can place bars on the top of the pots so they cannot reach the plants. These prevent toddlers and small children from climbing over the top of the pots.

When you have plants in bulk pots, it is easier to keep track of them. You do not have to keep pulling the pots and trying to find the plants. You can label the pots so you know where each plant is. You can put them in one of the drawers of the bedroom closet if you do not want the pots in your direct line of vision. This will make it much easier for you to find the plants as you need them.
